I do think this is the first giveaway from either Super Deluxe site I’ve entered. I’d like to win because, while I haven’t seen Blade Runner before, everyone tells me it’s amazing and that I should have seen it already. So what better way to experience it for the first time than with a hi-def transfer and some immersive goodies in the box set?

I’d love to win, because I won’t waste the thing once I have it. I fell hard for Blade Runner on first viewing, back in ’82, and I’ve watched a good chunk of film style and popular culture work to catch up to it ever since. But at the same time, I can’t count how many times I’ve heard someone say “Blade Runner.. That any good?” Each time, I do what I can to drag them to my place for a screening, or force my way into their living room for same. With the new BD, I’ll have a new bible to thump, and I’ll be thankful for it.
And if I don’t win, I may be forced to push someone’s eyes into the back of their skull.
So there’s that.
…’cause I hear there’s a new documentary on it! Otherwise, it feels like a cash-in to me, but the slightest bit of new stuff is just the hook to get me interested!

This one of the best movies ever made starring our Dutch pride Rutger Hauer, a defenitly must own in every blu ray collection.
In the era of instant digital download, this is the only way to own our favorite movies.
It’s one of the greatest movies of all time. And I would truly love to have a spinner of my own.

I would like to win only because I did enough probes in the near and not so near past to have “final final of the final edition version” of my lovely movie, which I like so much. So enough probes, including VHS, many DVD’s and last months BD region B, which of course is not full version as Americans have so long time (am I true? ;D), so I will do not pay next time for new maybe last version including maybe last version

Beautiful box set of one of the greatest sci fi movies of all time!
I’d like to win this incredible set because I simply adore this highly imaginative piece of filmmaking. Why do I love it? It’s simple:
This masterpiece still represents the cutting edge of dark science fiction and it’s perhaps the only film of this genre that can be called transcendental.
Oh, and the soundtrack by Vangelis is the pinnacle of most haunting and beautiful scores ever commited to films PERIOD.
I’m a rapidly aging Baby Boomer with few pleasures left in life. Winning the Blade Runner 30th Anniversary Box Set may the remedy I’m looking for.
Well…from VHS to laserdisc to DVD, from theatrical to director’s to final cut, I have bought so many versions of this movie I’ve lost count. It would be nice to get one for free.

Recently bought a BR player, and would love this set – one of my very favorite movies!
Well, in my case it was the first time i ever saw such a powerful scifi movie combined with this awesome soundtrack by Vangelis … you don´t see not often a movie like this – i was almost paralyzed
In the end it was the music of this movie which influenced my own tracks at most ..
Because I love blu ray and I love deluxe editions and I love BLADE RUNNER.
Because, while I love the film, I refuse to pay for new edition of it a fourth time.

Why Wouldn’t I want a copy of one of the top sci-fi movies?
I’d like to win as I already own most of the previous DVD/Blu Ray editions, so need to complete my collection. Also Blade Runner was one of the first films I saw in a theater back in 1982.
Blade Runner is one of my all time favorite films. I would love to add the 30th Anniversary Blu-ray box to my collection, which already includes the Director’s Cut DVD, the original 5-disc Blu-ray set, and the limited briefcase edition. (Until a few years ago, I also owned the Director’s Cut on VHS and Laserdisc.)
I’d like to win the box set as I’ve never won anything and this would be a great way to rectify that!!
One of my favourite sci-fi movies and a lovely box set to own, I want one
I’d like to win because I have spent a lifetime in slavery to the film.
When I worked in a video store, 10 hours a day 6 days a week, I played the film in the store at least once a day.
When the Director’s Cut came out and the cinema here bumped the release – to accomodate Chevy Chase’s Memoirs Of An Invisible Man – I held a one man protest outside the cinema, accusing them of bad taste.
When the Director’s Cut came out on VHS in the USA long before anywhere else (this was pre-internet, no amazon) I spent somewhere around US$200 getting it, and then paid more to convert it to PAL.
I bought my first DVD player purely because Blade Runner came out in this format.
I spent a small fortune having the 5 Disc DVD tin box couriered to me on the day of release.
I have a huge, block mounted poster for the film on my study wall. I have turned down several lucrative offers of sex, cash and both, for it.
I now have a family that insist I spend money on Batman rather than Blade Runner. If I don’t win this contest, I don’t get this Blu Ray!

I’d love to win because I have never owned a fancy expensive and lavish Blu-ray box set! I’ve always wanted to opt for the fancier versions but the prices are always out of reach for me. So of course I would love to win this Blade Runner box set!

I remember the monologue version, i saw it when i was 12 and i really need to see it again. The Vangelis music is brillant and Harrison Ford is one of my favorite actors. So i would love to win. Thank you for your music blog and this one too.

When I was 15 I believed the world would become close to what Ridley Scott was showing us in “Blade Runner”. 2018 is not far from here, but every time I watch “Blade Runner” (which is, more or less, once a year), it still makes me feel I’m 15, which is why it still surprises me…

I saw Blade Runner three times on the original theatrical release and I am a huge fan of the movie.
I pre-ordered this on amazon, then cancelled because it was cheaper at sainsburys, now sainsburys can’t get a hold of it & amazon have sold out!
Looks like i’ll have to start selling my limbs to get hold of a copy now all the decent preorder prices have disappeared. I’ll never be able afford my ticket to an offworld colony and have my chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunity!
Because although I am a man that prefers the ladies, Ford is hot and a bit of a man crush I am afraid…… Better than that Connery!!!

I would like to Blade Runner_ is the first movie I bought when I got a VHS VCR, it is the first movie I bought when I got a DVD Player, and I’ve only just this weekend bought a Bluray player and don’t have any BR discs yet. So winning this would keep the tradition alive.

When the film first opened, I gathered a bunch of friends to see it opening night. I showed. None of my other ten friends did. Consequently, I enjoyed the film opening day in a pretty empty theatre. Winning this set would be cool recompense for being ditched. However, even if I do not win, I won by being an “early adopter” of such a great and classic film.

Blade Runner has been one of the greatest films of all time since it made its debut in 1982. And now, with Sir Ridley Scott’s Final Cut, it’s that, but even more so. Part of the reason Blade Runner is so fascinating to watch still to this day, is that you can literally see it’s evolution through the decades, from the Theatrical Cut first shown in theaters all the way to today’s “finished” form. My collection needs this film, in all its disparate forms. That’s why I want this set. Plus, that spinner is frakking cool.

Balde Runner was and still the best science fiction movie ever made. Everytime I see it it still gave goose bumps even 30th later. It is still the same since the first time I saw it in 1982…Just brilliant.

I would like to win this excellent blu-ray box because it embodies the best and most expansive uses of the format: Multiple film versions, Reading material and a Collectible Spinner figurine all wrapped up in a well designed package. And right now because I’ve bought every Blade Runner release back to VHS…I just cannot afford this one at this time and it HURTS to think that one of my top 5 favorite films of all time would have this stunning box released- without me being able to buy it.
